At the end of the tunnel, and this time it's not a train! That's right, gang, the interior layout is finished, the paperback and hardcover wrap templates should be in my hands this weekend, and then Monday I can start uploading completed files to the printers!
What does that mean for you? It means that you're very close to having this awesome anthology in your hands! It also means that we should be sending out digital copies of Nevermore on April 2, 2024!
That's right, you're less than two weeks from getting your download links for your digital copy of Nevermore, and we'll be getting print books shipped out in April! If you would like to pick up your copy of the anthology at RavenCon or Atomacon, please email me - [email protected]. I will set your book aside and get it to you at the con. I am not sure yet if we will have them in hand for JordanCon, but if we do, I'll send out another update for folx who might like to pick them up in Atlanta.
Thank you all for your patience, I really hope you love the stories in book as much as we all do.

We've got a cover! Check out this amazing art by the inimitable Lynne Hansen! We're getting close, fam, and we are on track to meet our Q1 2024 release schedule! Books should start shipping in March to be in your hands by the end of that month, so keep an eye out for more updates as we get closer to making this project a reality!
And since the cover looks so badass, I'm making stickers of it that will go in with every physical backer reward! So if you got a paperback or hardcover with your pledge, you'll have a cool sticker of the cover art in your package, too!
Also, there are a few hours left in our new campaign, New Year, New Books, that we're doing with our friends Patrick Dugan and Darin Kennedy. Hey gang! We're approaching the finish line with edits on the very last story (the one our overworked and overobligated publisher is writing, so it's all my fault and I apologize), and we will be looking to start shipping out rewards in March, so if your shipping address has changed, please let us know as soon as possible. We're so excited to bring this awesome, spooky anthology to life and I can't wait to start seeing it pop up on social media as y'all show off your copies!
While we're finishing up Nevermore, we're also producing the New Year, New Books Kickstarter where Falstaff Books publisher John Hartness (it me!) teams up with my buddies Darin Kennedy and Patrick Dugan to bring FIVE new novels to life. These are all completed novels, and we're looking at a ConCarolinas launch for these new titles, so all of these rewards will deliver in the second quarter of this year. November update - things are cooking right along!

Hey there!
Just wanted to give everyone an update on what's going on with the book.
All the stories except one have been turned in, and there's a little editorial to do on one additional story, but we expect the final text to be completed by the end of December. Misty has been working with our cover artist Lynne Hansen to craft a kickass cover for the book, and we'll be unveiling that around the same time as we finish up all the editorial. We're still very much on track to have the book built by January, and then we can start shipping things out so people have everything in hand by our March 2024 delivery date.
Thanks for supporting independent publishing, and I'll pig everyone in a month or so when our final author (ahem, me) gets his story turned in!
